Muslim Women With Disabilities March For Peace
By Dave Reynolds, Inclusion Daily Express
August 20, 2005

LONDON, ENGLAND--A group of about 50 Muslim women with disabilities took to the streets of London Saturday spreading a message of peace.

The BBC reported that the women, who are members of the Muslim Disabled Association, handed out about 5,000 leaflets condemning violence in the wake of the July bomb attacks in the city.

MDA chairperson Abida Iqval said the women wanted people to hear their message of peace and love.

"We don't want any terror, we don't want any racialism and we don't want any hate," she explained.

"We are against terrorism and violence, Islam does not allow the killing of innocent people."
